Munich Show 2020 – CANCELLATION

Dear visitors,
The current development of the corona pandemic has after all caught up with us shortly before the full time whistle: With a heavy heart and after weighing all the facts, we decided today to cancel MUNICH SHOW 2020.
We were confident until the weekend and fought as a team to be able to offer a working trade platform to our exhibitors and to you. However, the latest figures and the measures announced and promised by politicians leave little room for this optimism or the hope of a trend reversal. The appeals to avoid contact and to restrict travel activities are already having an effect: Online ticket sales, which were going well until last week, have come to a standstill in the past few days. Regardless of the far-reaching protection and hygiene measures at the show, it is to be expected that many exhibitors and visitors will refrain from traveling or will not be able to visit Munich Show at all due to a possible lock down. Under these circumstances, we can not afford any longer to take the increasing risks associated with a realization of the show.
To cancel the show, with which we also wanted to send a sign of hope, was not easy for us. At the same time, given the circumstances, it would be irresponsible towards you, the trades involved and the exhibitors to postpone this decision even further. Therefore we would like to especially thank you for your intended visit and we hope for your understanding!
We will certainly fully refund already purchased tickets for the Munich Show 2020. We will contact all visitors with pre-purchased tickets by eMail. In case of questions please do not hesitate to contact us at: besucherservice@munichshow.com.
We would have been delighted to see you personally in Munich for one of the few trade fair events this year. We wish you and your family all the best for the months ahead and we hope to see you healthy again next year at Munich Show 2021.
